Beauty is closely related to physical appearance. The shape of your body, the color of your skin, the shine of your hair, the clothes and jewelry that you wears are all factors used by the modern world to define the beauty of a person.
Many people have forgotten that beauty is composed of inner and outer beauty. What is inside a person’s heart and mind is manifested in the outside world. Beauty is the total impact of your views about a person’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual attributes.
Inner peace is a key component for achieving true beauty and health.
Peace
Having peace of mind is another key factor in achieving beauty inside and out. Peace of mind gives a person much needed space to enable them to see the beauty of everything around them. The way a person views the world depends on their inner peace.
Meditation
Meditating helps in achieving peace of mind, tranquility, and serenity. Anyone can engage in meditation. You don’t need to be an expert in yoga to be able to meditate. You can sit on a chair, close your eyes and free your mind of the thoughts of the past and the future. Focusing on the present is what yoga is all about. You should feel the air passing through the nose, entering and exiting the lungs. Meditation takes practice, which should be done regularly.
Other than knowing than art of meditation, there are ways of achieving peace of mind. Listed below are some of them:
-Forgive those who have wronged you
It may sound like a cliché but this is one of the basic lessons that people often take for granted. Holding no grudges against people will be very helpful in achieving peace of mind. Unloading all of your hard feelings and accepting past events is a major key toward inner peace.
-Say “I’m sorry”
Saying “I’m sorry” for the mishaps and mistakes that we make is necessary when trying to achieve inner peace. Inner peace is not achieved through pride; it is achieved by respecting the people around you.
-Pray
Praying for wisdom and courage instead of material things is a fulfilling experience. Peace of mind speaks of the soul and not of the material world.
Achieving peace of mind is a way of improving one’s overall image. Beauty is a two-sided coin; both inner and outer beauty should be improved and neither should be taken for granted.

SPA To Enhance Your Appearance
A Relaxing Spa Experience Will Help You Enhance Your Appearance Inside And Out Spas abound in all sizes and shapes and they all have one thing in common which is that is all are dedicated to providing personal health. To a certain degree, each addresses emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
You can walk out of a spa physically and emotionally sound and free from stress. Stress is the number one factor that affects not only your emotions and health, but your appearance as well. A day in a spa helps to release stress and allows for the release of all negative energy, both of which are necessary to attain a more tranquil body.
The best spa environment must offer the following:
• Clean surroundings
• Professional, courteous and friendly staff
• Credentials that are available when requested
Basic spa treatments include:
1. Therapeutic massage is the use of the hands on the on the muscles of the body to provide a soothing and relaxing feeling as well as several other health benefits.
2. A facial is a service offered in a spa that involves deep cleansing, skin analysis, massage, toning, moisturizing and "extraction" - which is the removal of impurities, particularly blackheads.
3. Body treatments involve cleansing by exfoliating with a body scrub or salt glow to cleanse the skin and remove the dead skin layers, resulting in a very soft and refreshed feeling.Body scrubs are usually supplemented with either a hydrating or detoxifying body wrap. Algae, seaweed or mud products are used to detoxify as they increase blood circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system. This improves your body's ability to release waste products. During the treatment, an oil or rich cream is applied to hydrate the skin to make it softer and glowing.
4. Spa manicures and pedicures and foot scrubs are available in some spas that have salons for hair styling and cutting services as well.
Before going to a spa, call and ask about the following:
• Ask about the services they offer. There are those that offer the basics such as facials, massages, foot scrubs, “manicures and pedicures”, and others that offer specialized bodywork, body wraps and much more.
• Ask about prices.
• Ask about the staff: are they certified or not? Can you see their credentials?
Your spa etiquette:
• Turn off the cell phone.
• Massage is generally done nude, however parts of the body that are not being massaged will be covered.
• Share the space with other spa customers respectfully.
• If there’s anything that displeases you, talk to the manager.
• Remember to tip 15-20 percent.
Relax and savor each spa moment and arrive 20 minutes before so that you have enough time to change and enjoy the sauna.
Treat yourself to a spa today! You deserve it!

Superfoods for a Super Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a wonderful time in your life. It can also be very taxing and exhausting for your body, mind and spirit at times. But by nourishing your body with these great superfoods, you’ll be energized, strong, and sharp, and ready to welcome your pending bundle of joy healthy and happy.
Beans and legumes are good sources of protein, fiber, calcium, iron, thiamine, and niacin. Make a big batch of beans when you have time and freeze them in small containers. Be careful with canned varieties, as they’re usually higher in sodium and their nutritional value is a bit lower since they’re processed using high temperatures. Soybeans provide more protein than any other bean or legume, making them a staple either the vegan or non-vegan. Soybeans are rich in many nutrients, including calcium and iron.
Include plenty of whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, millet, and oats as they’re a great source of fiber, minerals, protein and B complex vitamins. Buy the least processed grain types you can find, since many of the commercially prepared grains have had the nutritional and beneficial germ and bran removed.
Dark green leafy vegetables like kale, collard greens, watercress, and spinach are especially important while pregnant or lactating because they supply so many vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A and C, calcium, and iron. Dark leafy green vegetables also are rich in phytochemicals like beta carotene and lutein which protect against many forms of cancer. Vegetables from the cabbage family such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage are wonderful sources of vitamin A, vitamin C, and calcium. They are also rich in phytochemicals that have anticancer properties. Dark green leafy vegetables and cabbage family vegetables provide important nutrients that help to promote a plentiful milk supply for your baby.
Nuts and seeds are good sources of fiber, protein, minerals, and essential fatty acids. Be sure to eat flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds and walnuts to get omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for baby’s brain and nervous system development as well as your own health. Nuts and seeds can be eaten raw or toasted, and work great in a salad made of dark leafy green vegetables.
Lastly, it’s important to drink plenty of water, and make sure you’re getting plenty of rest during this time. A well-hydrated, well-rested body recovers more quickly, and ready to take on the challenges that life with a newborn baby brings with it.

Latest Fashion Trends in Unique Handbags and Purses
If you’re looking for something a little different, there are literally thousands of beautifully crafted unique handbags and purses available for purchase online. If you’re tired of the mass-produced offerings you tend to find at the mall, the online handbag, purse and fashion accessory market is an exciting and exotic new world.
The variety of unique handbag and purse designs keeps getting bigger, better and more innovative all the time, but as with every kind of fashion accessory, interesting trends emerge with every new season. Here is a brief rundown of what’s coming in unique purses and handbags.
Cloth Purses
Cloth purses are very casual fashion items, so colorful fabrics and whimsical patterns are the strongest trend. If you love bold colors and striking contrasts you’ll have a great time shopping for cloth purses this season.
A cloth purse is mostly a spring/summer fashion accessory, so expect to see warm colors, and light breezy cotton or nylon fabrics. Fresh, summery patterned fabrics with flowers, fruits and ladybugs are always popular.
Also very fashionable is the clever and practical reversible cloth purse. You can literally turn the purse inside out to reveal the alternative fabric pattern, so you have two purses in one.
Monogrammed handbags
Monogrammed bags and purses never really go out of style, and this season we’ll see a huge range of colors, shapes sizes and styles.
A strong upcoming trend is leather sling hipster handbags with elegantly embossed initials or a name. Soft leather is a beautiful fabric for handbags because it’s durable, always very stylish, and it goes with everything. Sling handbags are very comfortable to carry, and perfect either for business or as a casual accessory.
Monogrammed tote bags
Tote bags are the most casual fashion accessory of all, and perfect for the beach, for picnics, or for a little shopping. Monogrammed tote bags are also great for kids to carry their school books or gym clothes, and having their initials or name printed on the bag means they won’t lose it.
Soft cotton canvas is the classic fabric for tote bags, and we’ll see an abundance of canvas tote bags this season.
The big trend for monogrammed tote bags will be big initials, printed across the whole side panel of the bag in big, bold colors. A single first initial of your first name as a monogram has a casual, whimsical kind of feel.
Dog purses
Everyone loves dogs, which is why the fashion for handbags, tote bags and purses decorated with a full panel photo of a gorgeous dachshund, poodle, beagle, yorkie or dalmatian just keeps getting stronger and stronger every year. Dog purses are a great gift idea for anyone whose best friend is their beloved hound.
Custom-made dog purses are also becoming more and more popular. You can have your own photograph of your dog printed onto a handbag, so your bag, like your dog, will be truly one of a kind.
Photo purses
Photo purses are simply ultra-cool, and the most individual and personal of fashion statements. You can have your own photo of anything you like printed onto a purse or handbag, like a special person in your life, your cat, dog or bird, or even your car.
A very trendy idea is to use a romantic old photograph of a relative as a model for your photo purse, so you can cherish their memory wherever you go.
Initial purses
Initial purses are a fashion accessory with a personal touch, and they make wonderful gifts. You can have just about any kind of purse printed, embroidered or embossed with a single initial or set of two or three initials in a wide variety of styles.
As for handbags, leather will be a big trend in the upcoming season for purses. We’ll see lots of small leather purses with a comfortable sling shoulder strap, elegantly embossed with two or three initials.
Cigar box purses
Cigar box purses are another strong trend for the coming year. They’re literally made from a wooden cigar box, fitted with a clasp and a handle, and embossed with an artistic or photographic image.
The most fashionable cigar box purses are decorated with advertising images from the glamorous 1920’s and 30’s. European advertising artwork from that period has a particularly elegant and alluring style, so we’ll be seeing a lot of Cinzano, Cognac and French Perfume labels on cigar box purses.
Hobo purses
Hobo purses can be cool and casual for shopping, or groovy and glamorous to go with evening wear.
Casual style hobo purses come in suede or leather, and soft colors like pastel pinks, beige, cream and white are very much in vogue.
A new look for hobo purses which is on the way in is a small purse in a gold or silver mesh fabric, or even ultra-glamorous sequins and rhinestones. These purses are a new take on the traditional evening purse, and make an eye-catching alternative.
Clutch handbags
Clutch purses and handbags have an elegant, streamlined look, but they’re the perfect size to carry all those little necessities.
The big look for clutch purses and clutch handbags in the coming year will be all glamour. Shiny metallic gold, silver, bronze and platinum shades will be the strong colors of the season, in soft suede leather.

Can Gardening Help You to Look Good?
Gardening and other outdoor activities can enhance your body metabolism. Outdoor projects help you to be active and enjoy your family. You may do gardening with your family to keep you away from being isolated in the living room watching television.
Working in the garden can be comparable to exercising. This will keep you from gaining unwanted weight and will give you a physically active body. Many experts agree that outdoor activities like gardening are a way to keep you busy and active. A regular physical activity in the work area will help you achieve a desired body shape. Here are ways gardening can help you look and feel good.
1. You may work on your wind chimes; there are many designs to choose from. Give your garden a patio or deck design that will complement the whole environment on a windy day. A pleasant environment will make you happy and look good.
2. Tend your plants every morning. Use the different tools available when watering, potting, and cultivating the soil. This is a form of weight-lifting exercises, which is good for your health and metabolism.
3. Gardening can help you breathe fresh air. This outdoor activity will not confine you inside your house. Gardening gives you a reason to go outdoors and enjoy the fresh air that is needed to keep you healthy.
4. Gardens may appear stark without large green plants and beautiful flowers. Flowers have been proven to release people from depression. The flowers that you see in your garden will release stress and relax you.
5. The fruits and vegetables you reap from your garden are essential in keeping you healthy. Gardening will allow you to eat healthy foods and they promote a healthy lifestyle.
6. Gardening is a leisure activity that will allow you to avoid unhealthy lifestyles like smoking, drinking alcohol, etc. Smoking and alcohol have been proven to make the skin dry and can cause diseases. Instead of wasting your time with these unhealthy habits, you can occupy your time by gardening.
Gardening is the best way for you to be actively working. You may not need to enroll in a weight loss program where you would be spending hundreds of dollars for the program. You can maintain your beautiful body figure as you work enjoyably in your garden.

Beauty Tips from the Experts
You do not need to have a perfect feature or a waif-like figure to be beautiful.
Every person is unique in their own way and this uniqueness is what makes a person beautiful.
Remember to enhance what you already have. If you have a high nose or a good jaw line or high cheek bones, you can use these features and put some effort in enhancing your good points.
By using the following tips from beauty experts you can look good and feel beautiful:
1. Take care of your skin.
Having a good skin, no matter what your complexion, will be your basic investment for looking good. Whether your skin is fair, brown or dark, - as long as it is glowing and radiant, you will achieve an overall healthy look.
Here are some ways to attain that healthy looking skin:
- If you are eating a great amount of junk food, your skin will look dull, dry and unhealthy. Eat foods enriched with vitamins that are beneficial for the skin so that you can achieve an inner glow.
- Get enough sleep to avoid those unsightly bags under your eyes.
- Hydrate your skin by drinking a lot of water.
- Use a good exfoliating product on your skin regularly. Having a regular regimen will help keep your skin healthy. Make sure that the products you use are applicable to your skin type.
2. Keep the skin on your face blemish-free.
If there is a blemish on your face, a quick fix is to use Visine; soak a cotton ball in it and hold it on the affected area to eliminate any redness. Then, use a single drop of Preparation H to remove the blemish.
To make wrinkles to disappear, apply a highlighter directly onto the crease after you use foundation over your entire face; then blend and set with face powder.
3. Use makeup to your advantage to highlight your features, especially your eyes.
For those “not-so-good” days where there are dark circles under your eyes, use an orange concealer mixed with foundation. Apply this under your eyes then apply foundation as usual. Use an eye shadow to highlight your eyelids but avoid using purple and blue colors.
Use a small amount of foundation to lighten your eyebrows then use small makeup brush to comb it through the brows.
Use lip colors that can enhance the brightness of your teeth.
By following these beauty tips from professionals, you can accentuate the best of your facial features that allow you to look good on the outside and feel better on the inside.

How to make use of natural products to enhance your looks
Man's tendency to become obsessed with being beautiful and how to be beautiful has not faded throughout time. Man's vanity continues to increase as man becomes more attached to technology and modern life.
While there are different concepts of beauty among those who lived during the middle ages and those who are living in the 21st century, this yearning to capture beauty has remained unchanged.
The only difference in this yearning is that today, there are a thousand and one ways available for man to become beautiful. Liposuction, nose lift, bust enhancement, lip and eyebrow tattoos, modern make up: name it, and modern man has it at his fingertips.
The use of modern-day methods to enhance one's appearance has caused more trouble for man. Cosmetic surgeries and other beauty enhancers do not come cheap so one must have unlimited resources to finance the vanity. Despite man's preference for the unnatural beauty methods, there is always an option available to use natural beauty enhancers.
A beauty secret that occurs in nature and is practically free, except perhaps for the monthly bill, is water. Water has been recommended by movie stars and glamour experts all over the world as a natural way of keeping the skin smooth and beautiful. Drinking plenty of water will rid the body of harmful toxins that can cause disease and physical imperfections such as acne.
Another product that is absolutely free and is there for the taking is sleep. Lack of sleep makes a person irritable and ugly inside and out. Improper sleeping habits can cause the skin to become dry and break out. Lack of sleep can cause dark circles under the eyes which will make anyone look tired as well as older. Experts recommend eight hours of sleep during the night to rejuvenate the body.
The use of moisturizers can make the skin younger looking and give it a glowing appearance. There is no need to buy expensive moisturizers in order to avail yourself of this beauty enhancer. The trick is to use the power of fruits and other natural products to make your own cream, face mask, cleanser and other beauty enhancers. These are called home remedies and you can make them right in your own kitchen.
Peel a cucumber, slice it and place it in the refrigerator for a few minutes. By placing the cold cucumber slices on your closed eyes you will relax the eyes and lessen any dark circles around them.
Did you know that oatmeal with honey can be used to exfoliate your body? Applying honey to your face and leaving it until it dries makes facial skin smooth and moisturized.
Using natural products to enhance your beauty is not only cost effective, but it is also safe.

Making the Best of Your Beauty Asset
The way people release their personal auras is of vital importance to their health, happiness, spiritual evolvement, and beauty.
Most people don’t know that the way they radiate the beauty that comes from within will be seen in their physical appearance. In fact, most psychologists contend that the “personal appeal” reflects the personal view an individual has of himself / herself.
By appreciating the goodness of yourself, you can create an effective means of enhancing your features and make the most of your beauty assets.
EYES
The best beauty assets of every woman is the eyes; they define the overall appearance by enhancing its shape and color. It is important to apply make up that will not only enhance the shape of the eyes but will highlight their color.
It has long been known that the eyes are the windows to the soul. They are the most communicative and dramatic feature of the face so it is important to use make up that will brighten and define the features of the eyes.
HAIR
Healthy and shiny hair is another of the best assets of every woman. It is important to use a healthy regimen of “hair care.” This doesn’t necessarily mean that hair care should only involve the use of the correct type of shampoo; but it also involves the utilization of the proper hairstyle to fit the type of lifestyle an individual has.
Hair care is extremely important because the human hair is a subtle structure that needs a great amount of attention. As they say, “the hair is every woman’s crowning glory”.
SKIN
The human skin is considered one of the beauty assets of every woman. Healthy skin releases the beauty that radiates from within. It is extremely important to take care of the skin in order to make the most of it.
Many people tend to think that caring for the skin will only involve proper cleaning and moisturizing. They don’t realize that it is important to exfoliate and tone the skin before moisturizing it. Once maintained, your skin can enhance your overall appearance.
Making the best of your beauty assets is one of the most effective ways to create an improved personality. People should realize that even if these beauty assets were God’s gift to humanity, especially to women, they would lose their purpose if people didn’t learn how to make the most them.

Why Beauty is Not Only Skin Deep?
This is true because real beauty glows from within and is a matter of perception. You do not need to spend a great amount of money for beauty products or artificial procedures to make you look good: it all comes from within.
This is the number one rule for looking and feeling beautiful.
If you have a myriad of problems and you think that you carry the world on your shoulders, it will reflect on your appearance.
If you have a desk job and are tied to a desk for eight hours a day, you need to participate in extracurricular activities and spend some time outdoors under the sun.
Negative vibes are never good for anyone. Having a positive outlook on life, no matter what problems may occur, is a sure way to achieve happiness and stay beautiful.

Being Happy and Beautiful
Happiness is not an end-all product. It is actually one of the factors in keeping one’s beauty.
Being happy is one of the key things that keep a person healthy and beautiful. I will share some tips on how to maintain beauty by being happy.
Happiness
How does one actually define happiness? Is it a state of mind or just an emotion? There are many schools of thought with regards to defining happiness. Whether it is a state of mind or just an emotion, people would know how to internally define what happiness is.
Feeling good about oneself and his surroundings is a general definition of happiness.
Happiness is said to be directly correlated somewhat with one’s physical state. Yes, it doesn’t necessarily have any effect on the inborn attributes of a person, but it does affect the glow of one’s skin, the shine of one’s hair and the overall aura of a person.
Tips on how to stay happy
1. Positive light
People have a choice regarding how they perceive things. Everything is subject to one’s view and we can use a positive light to be able to see through things. Seeing positively is one of the key secrets of a happy person. Yes, life is composed of ups and downs but people should always remember that there is a silver lining for all the upsets that are happening in their lives.
2. Down with stress
Work is usually equated with stress and stress is mainly a key driver of unhappiness. It’s all about making the right choice and the proper budgeting of one’s time and energy. There are people who stay well and happy even though they are subject to stressful work because they know how to allocate time and energy and they love what they are doing.
3. Exercise
Research has revealed that exercising regularly delivers emotional and mental boosts. Exercise improves one’s mood, self-esteem and confidence. A recent study done in Duke University has shown that regular exercise is very much effective in reducing depression, tension, confusion and anger.
4. Take a time out
Taking a rest, whether it be a long vacation or intermittent breaks during work, will benefit a person greatly.
Being happy makes one beautiful and being beautiful makes one happy. It’s a good cycle that one has to get into. It’s all about taking that first step towards self-liberation down to the road of happiness.

The Best Beauty Secret - Beyond Makeup and Hair Treatments
Simply looking like a model will NOT qualify you to be called beautiful, and that is the honest truth.Beauty is more than just the perfect hair, makeup, dress, teeth, skin and clothes. Yes, those things help make a woman look good. But beautiful is a class of its own – a class a woman like you can achieve.
Of course, looking good can help as you make your way toward being beautiful. So here are some tips to get from looking good to becoming beautiful.
Your crowning glory
You don’t need to visit the salon every week, but neither should you keep your ‘mane’ looking like a mat on your head.
Take care to keep your hair clean and shiny. On occasion (every 2 months or so), visit a hairstylist who can suggest a good cut that will suit your face and body shape.
Carry yourself like royalty
The idea is for you to be able to walk down the street WITHOUT shuffling your feet and with your head bowed down as if apologizing for your existence.
Push your shoulders back with your head resting squarely on your shoulders and stride! Walk as if every hall you pass is a runway – because it is.
You make the clothes (not the other way around)
Be realistic about your body shape. Not everyone’s got an hourglass figure (and guess what? Not everyone desires that either!).
Don’t torture yourself by forcing your body into clothes that will not suit you. It is about as sad a thing as you could do to yourself. Take what you’ve got and dress to highlight what your mama gave you. Consult with a professional to determine what types of clothes will flatter your body shape.
Makeup not mock-up
The only time too much makeup is a good thing is when it’s on a clown or mime. Otherwise, less is more.
Much like with clothes, use makeup to highlight the nice things about your face. Are those your eyes? Your lips? Your cheeks? Caution though, if you feel your face has got all of those; choose only one part to emphasize or risk looking like a member of K.I.S.S.
Finally, the best beauty secret of all…
…love yourself! It is by far the best beauty treatment you can get. Develop a positive attitude on everything there is about you – from the way you think, to how you talk and of course how you look. People will recognize that there is something about you that makes you irresistible – and that is when you feel great about yourself, no matter what others think or say. You can start being beautiful – now!

Designer Handbags for the Rich and Famous
For as long as I can recall, I have been completely obsessed with designer handbags. I spent the majority of my youth dreaming of the day when I could afford to buy my favorite designer handbags. Here I am, some ten years later, still looking forward to that day. While I have been known to skip out on my bills to buy the latest trendy handbag, I have yet to spend more than $1000.00 on an individual bag. A girl can still dream, can't she?
I was leafing through some catalogs over the weekend, and I was amazed at how incredibly expensive some of the high-end designer handbags really are. I knew they were expensive, but I had no clue how very expensive. Oh…the innocence of youth! I decided that it would be useful for our legion of faithful readers to have a handy reference of the most expensive designer handbags on the planet. So here goes…It has been written about countless times in the press and in the blogosphere, but I simply cannot resist this little gem! If I had to name an all-time favorite design house, Fendi would be the one. I don't know how they manage to do it, but they are consistently able to strike an incredible balance between innovation and classic design in all of their creations. Fendi designs some of the most exciting handbags in the fashion industry, and the "B.Bag" is one of the most sought-after handbags in the world. One might think that the $30,000 price tag might be a deterrent, but not for those with the means to support their addiction!
Another bag that has given me far too many sleepless nights is the Hermes "Birkin" bag! These bags were named after Jane Birkin, the oh-so-fabulous British actress and fashion icon. These bags are often duplicated, but never truly replicated. With a price tag of over $20,000, it is easy to understand why they are a favorite of vendors of cheap, imitation handbags. As you are likely aware, these bags are available by special order only. Furthermore, the final costs will very much be dependent on the materials and hardware used in their construction. Wow! Do I need a Sugar Daddy, or what?
If there was one other bag that creeps into my dreams with any regularity, it would be the "Muse" from Yves Saint Laurent. It is very much like a traditional bowling bag in shape and design. The first time I saw her was at Saks on Fifth Ave in NYC, and from that moment I knew one day she would be mine. If I had my way, I would choose the oh-so-supple white crocodile version. I cannot think of anything I would rather spend $20,000 on…aside from the "Birkin" bag mentioned above. Wouldn't I make the perfect girlfriend? Wanna go shopping sometime?
Appreciation -

Watch What You Eat to Enhance Beauty
Today beauty is associated with a beautiful body. From TV commercials to fashion magazines, thin women are in and those who are overweight are out. However, more than half of the population is overweight. This problem is affecting not only women but men of all ages.
A healthy lifestyle not only increases a person’s energy but it can also enhance their appearance. Most people who are overweight do not watch their diet, and that leads to unwanted obesity.
Here are some tips to follow to achieve a beautiful body through proper dieting:
1. Eat high-fiber, low fat foods such as salads, vegetables, and pasta.
2. Eat small amounts of food every two hours instead of having a big breakfast, lunch, or dinner. By doing this, the metabolism will increase and burn calories faster. Do not skip a single meal as there is less temptation to eat junk food when the stomach is full.
3. Instead of cornflakes, try oatmeal for breakfast to lower your cholesterol level. Eating oatmeal for breakfast keeps a person from wanting snacks before lunch because it is rich in fiber.
4. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. It helps cut the appetite and improves the appearance of the skin.
5. Avoid alcoholic beverages especially beer; instead, try fruit juices or iced tea.
6. Avoid sweets. Chocolate specifically can ruin the diet. Avoiding it does not mean total abstinence from it though - have some once a week!
7. Instead of eating meat, try fish. Eating a large amount of fish does not make you fat.
8. Abstain from eating after 6 PM. This has worked for many people. The idea behind it is to keep food away from the body when its metabolism is at its slowest state. For people who cannot totally eliminate food during this time eat yogurt, cabbage, fish, or green salad.
9. Lose weight sensibly. Do not keep the stomach hungry. It is a common belief that skipping meals is a sure way to lose weight; but that is just plain wrong! Instead, try eating fruit like watermelon, papaya, etc.
10. Avoid frying with oil: try to use non-stick cookware to cut down the oil or use paper towels to remove excess oil.
11. Instead of whole milk, put skim milk in your coffee or tea. There is no difference in the taste, just the number of calories.
Loosing weight has been one of American’s problems that’s affecting more than half of the population. To decrease that percentage, follow the simple 11 steps above.

You Have To Feel Good To Look Good
People love to look good and appreciated. Many of them are going to spas, using beauty treatments, dieting, and other beauty rituals. What they often forget is that beauty must start from within.
When people feel good about themselves they are unknowingly boosting their self-esteem, projecting positive aura, and looking younger than their age.
People feel good if they are satisfied, when they are fit and healthy, but not necessarily ultra thin. Perhaps, the most significant factor necessary to feel good about “you” is feeling good about the body and its appearance.
Here are some simple tips that make people feel good about themselves:
1. Appreciate yourself.
Ever wondered what simple praise can do for a person? It cannot only boost your self-esteem but “fuel you” so that you do better by knowing that your appearance and efforts are recognized. This works similarly if a person often praises himself instead of frequently absorbing blame or pity. Optimistic people usually get the most out of life, they think positively; and in turn feel more positive about the things that they do. As a result, they attain an excellent personal and body image.2. Fitness and exercise.
People feel good when they see a great body when they face the mirror. It makes them confident enough to wear clothes that they would not have worn previously and they are generally energized. Achieving this is easier said than done. Beginners can exercise in the comfort of their own homes, enroll at a gym, and become involved in sports. Exercise will improve their posture and balance as well as reduce stress that can cause unwanted wrinkles.
3. Proper diet.
Eating sensibly does not just guarantee a leaner and healthier body, but people feel good when they are spared from the trauma of admission to a hospital. They can participate in activities that they enjoy and spend quality time with their loved ones. Eating foods that are healthy and good for the body eliminates worries about unwanted weight gain and related diseases.
4. Make and keep friends.
People always feel better when they are surrounded by good friends who contribute to their enjoyment of life. Studies show that people who have friends have a lower stress level, recover from illnesses quicker, and live longer compared to those people who have few friends and prefer to be alone.
With all that is happening in today’s world, feeling positive and good is something that seems difficult or impossible to achieve. However, by learning to practice the simple tips mentioned above you will at least one-step closer to that goal.

Handbags and Women - Choice or Biological Destiny?
Handbags have been one of the necessities of life for women ever since recorded history began. It was important to have the items that one used often close at hand and articles found in a purse have ranged from ornate sewing scissors (17th century) to todays mandatory cell phone and credit cards. Why is it that women carry their belongings around and men just have their wallets? My opinion is that the need to carry something to hold goods is a fundamental need rooted in the biology of females. Who is the main caregiver of the family from prehistory to the present? Yes, I know that traditional roles are gradually evolving but what person in the "traditional" family is the most responsible for taking care of everyone? In most cases, it is the woman who gets people organized and make sure everyone has whatever they need.
Biologically speaking, the female of our species takes care of her offspring and makes sure that all needs will be taken care of once the home is left. I believe that this has evolved into women carrying all that they need and what everyone else could possibly want in their handbag. To illustrate - when you go out with a male friend do you ask him for tissues, pen, or paper? No - you ask another female. Another nurturer is more likely to have some basic necessities than a male.
Am I saying that there is a basic "purse carrying" gene? No - what I am saying is that, biologically speaking, females are the caregivers of the world and have always had this role thrust upon them since the beginning of Homo sapiens. It is our destiny (both physically and psychologically) to make sure that the world is in order. We can't handle the entire planet but we do our best to organize our own particular sphere! Our "caregiving" instincts are attuned to others and, if we fight this destiny, there is a feeling of things not being "quite right" around us. So enjoy carrying your handbag and know that you are making the global community a better place for all!
