Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn't fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn't dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?
Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.
This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.
But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.
The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this.
However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.
Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumblebee no one has told it so. So fly it does.
On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.
If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.
Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’
Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header - the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’
As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’
As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.
You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.
Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.
On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.
Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be hard work and discipline. But take note that the 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.
Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.
So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Why wit is always beautiful
Society's obsession with beauty has made it the primary consideration among people of all ages and of any gender. They strive to attain improvements with clothes and other products to make themselves beautiful and they spend thousands of dollars on vanity products. There's nothing wrong with that, but……..
Man's proclivity for all things bright and beautiful is understandable because it is society's measure of success and popularity. However, there are many people who spend most of their time trying to be physically beautiful yet they forget to fill their minds with the right ingredients for intelligence.
It is easy to be beautiful but it takes a lot of hard work to become intelligent, even if you are blessed with the genes to be so. But why should you consider being smart if you are already beautiful?
Most people look at beauty in terms of a person's physical characteristics, but real beauty is beyond those long-lashes and those pouting lips. Real beauty is the total well-being of a person. It is the totality of a person in terms of his physical appearance and mental sharpness, his culture and experiences in life.
It may be a cliché but it is true that “physical beauty means more than a person’s “good looks”. A person's mind is part of his physique and what better way to make your physique attractive than to nurture your mind.
While beauty of the face and body is the first thing that attracts one person to another, it takes more than these two physical characteristics to be considered beautiful in the long run.
Men and women have become so concerned with physical beauty that they tend to forget that what really makes a person beautiful are the words and ideas that come from his mind and mouth.
Imagine having to just stare at a beautiful girl for days without being able to talk to her because she is not intelligent? Or having to endure looking at an Adonis-looking male for hours because he does not know how to carry on a conversation?
Enhancing one's physical appearance is an important factor that is necessary if we are to survive in this “rat race” which favors the beautiful over intelligence or the ugly. However, plain physical beauty with nothing between the ears will cause people to lose interest.
It is important to note that while physical beauty fades with age, a beautiful mind will always persist, no matter for how long, or no matter what it takes.

Superfoods for Super Sex
Every aspect of a food - its color, shape, scent and texture – can make it sexy. In addition, certain foods contain substances that make us feel good by interacting with our hormones or stimulating our brain. Consider incorporating some of the following into your next candlelight dinner to help you and your partner get in the mood.
Oysters are a good source of minerals like selenium and zinc, and are also high in protein. A perfect appetizer to a beautiful meal – but be careful when purchasing, as some can have high levels of pollutants and PCB. If you’re pregnant, oysters should be avoided.
Chocolate has been a symbol of love and lust for centuries due to theobromine, a stimulant to the brain that creates a pleasurable effect. Chocolate also contains antioxidants that may lower cancer and heart disease risk. However, chocolate is also very high in fat, so self-restraint should be exercised. Dark chocolates are usually lower in sugar, but higher in antioxidants and theobromine than milk chocolate.
Kiwi and papaya are colorful fruits that have an alluring and interesting aspect about them that can help flip the switch. Loaded with antioxidants, tropical fruits help fend off heart disease and cancers. Kiwi actually has more vitamin C in it than an orange, and papaya is rich in beta-carotene and high in fiber.
Honey was thought in medieval times to sweeten the marriage when mixed into a drink. Bear in mind, however, it’s still pretty high in sugar, so use sparingly.
Asparagus can also help get your partner in the mood. It’s one of the few good sources of vitamin E and is a natural diuretic. Steaming is the best way to prepare them without losing nutrients, and they can easily be eaten by hand.
A good cup of coffee or tea after that romantic dinner stimulates the release of epinephrine, which contributes to stimulation in the body. It can also be found in dark chocolate. Just don’t consume too much caffeine before bed, unless you plan on being awake all night long!

Stay Beautiful Both Inside and Outside!
In a world where companies make millions of dollars in the beauty industry, it helps to know that you do not need to spend a great amount of money on products or artificial enhancements to really be beautiful.
A positive attitude, a sound mind and body, and a positive well-being will all help you glow from within. Here are some tips on how you can be beautiful from the inside to the outside:
1. Know who you are and be comfortable with yourself.
The way that you feel will reflect on the outside. If you are feeling stressed and harassed, you will look that way no matter how much makeup you put on or how well you dress.
On the other hand, if you are comfortable with yourself, you know exactly who you are and you have a positive outlook in life, then you will exude beauty from within, even without any artifice.
2. Be confident and embrace your uniqueness.
Beauty is simply a matter of perception. There are people who do not have angelic features or a perfect profile but once you look at them, they have an aura and air that you just cannot put a finger on.
This vitality comes from their inner confidence. If you just concentrate on your flaws; see that you don’t have good skin, or your nose is crooked, then you will never be content with your appearance.
You need to focus on your good points and make an effort to bring out the best of who and what you are.
3. Pamper yourself, eat well, take care of yourself.
Having good overall health will further enhance your inner beauty. Looking pale and unhealthy comes from bad eating habits and not spending enough time exercising.
Remember that eating healthy does not necessarily mean starving yourself. If you decide to lose weight, do it for yourself - in order to stay healthy. Don’t succumb to the pressures of society; that being beautiful means being paper-thin.
If you are tied to a desk from 9 to 5, spend some time out in the sun during weekends and jog or play a physical game with friends. This will not just give you a break from work but also lift your spirits. Pamper your self from time to time as a reward for all of the hard work that you do.
By following these tips, you are well on your way to being truly beautiful - both inside and out.

Discover the real fountain of Youth
While it is generally considered taboo to discuss or to admit this in public, people have two things they want to avoid----ugliness and aging.
Everyone has always heard the “motherly advice” about being tolerant of imperfections and of those who have not been gifted with perfect appearance. However, at the back of their minds, people will always despise the thought of becoming old and ugly.
Because of the penchant for beauty and youthfulness, people are willing to spend hundreds or even millions of dollars, to enhance their appearance and to avoid appearing old as much as possible. Everybody wants to stay beautiful and young forever and the search for the “fountain of youth” has become the rule - not the exception.
But what is this fountain of youth that is supposed to keep everyone young forever? Beauty experts have come up with various beauty products, anti-aging creams, placenta creams, and pills to prevent signs of aging. There are those who take hormone pills to stay young forever; but have they discovered the fountain of youth?
There are reports that scientists are in the process developing a breakthrough hormone that will suppress the aging process and which will keep humans younger longer. However, the anti-aging hormone is still being tested on mice and will probably take several more years, perhaps never, before it will be used on humans.
In the meantime, the human race is spending its energy and financial resources to look for the “fountain of youth”. But is there really something which will make a person youthful forever?
Man is by nature a limited being so there is no question that man is destined to die. The “fountain of youth” that will make a person youthful in terms of appearance is probably just wishful thinking and man will continue to look for something that does not exist.
People who want to remain young, physically and mentally should consider their state of mind. Being exposed to stressful situations throughout a lifetime can make a person age both mentally and physically. Avoiding stress or learning how to manage stress can make a big difference in a person’s appearance.
Age is a state of mind and sometimes it is reinforced by certain physical factors such as wrinkles. However, a mind that is always open to new ideas and which refuses to be captive to the fear of aging will always be youthful. The way you think and the way you live your life will show in your appearance, so if you want to be youthful, think young and live a happy and stress-free life.

Why Beauty is Not Only Skin Deep?
This is true because real beauty glows from within and is a matter of perception. You do not need to spend a great amount of money for beauty products or artificial procedures to make you look good: it all comes from within.
This is the number one rule for looking and feeling beautiful.
If you have a myriad of problems and you think that you carry the world on your shoulders, it will reflect on your appearance.
If you have a desk job and are tied to a desk for eight hours a day, you need to participate in extracurricular activities and spend some time outdoors under the sun.
Negative vibes are never good for anyone. Having a positive outlook on life, no matter what problems may occur, is a sure way to achieve happiness and stay beautiful.

Confidence Enhances Beauty
Some of the most successful people in life know what is needed to make any of their dreams come true. The task may take a great deal of time and effort and the only thing that will keep the individual going, despite the setbacks, is confidence.
Whenever a challenge presents itself, people should be optimistic. If fellow colleagues succeed, congratulate and praise them for a job well done. This will cause others to think highly of you as a “self-starter” and help you no matter what the odds are.
Confidence always starts with good posturing and a smile. Everyone has accomplished certain feats in life and a person should always remember this to be able to achieve a second triumph.
Being confident is also about being realistic. If a certain task is difficult, a person should be honest and speak up. Rather than just mentioning the problems, a smart person will offer solutions for overcoming these obstacles.
Some people may envy the many accomplishments of an individual and will try to discourage that person. A confident individual knows who to listen to and what to believe. The goal must be kept in mind the entire time and simply ignore discouraging statements .
Confidence can also be enhanced by associating with people who share the same enthusiasm. This can be accomplished by joining a club or finding new friends. These individuals may have ideas worth sharing and listening to that will help a person achieve more in the future.
Some people believe that the attire a person wears is another sign of confidence. This doesn’t mean buying expensive clothes or make up: it simply means dressing properly for the occasion and using proper grooming.
Everyone has role models. These individuals may be deceased but the accomplishments of these people have lived on. By thinking of that key personality and being consistent, a person will be able to succeed in a similar manner worth remembering.
Humans are not perfect and mistakes will happen. By being aware of these limitations, a person will still have room for improvement.
There are strengths and weaknesses in everyone. By having friends and family members present to challenge the person to move forward, an individual’s true beauty is apparent. This will make it possible to overcome the odds and succeed in life’s challenges.

What's Your Reason to Exercise?
Many of us follow an exercise program, but on the other hand, many of others who don't. Have you ever asked yourself, what is the number ONE reason for you to exercise?
Below are several good reasons that I can think of as why one should start exercising now:
1. Contributes to fat loss
It is well proven from scientific research all over the world that physical exercise contributes to weight loss. If you burn more calories than you consume through nutrition, you'll lose weight. When you exercise, you burn more calories than when you don't. It's really simple - the more you exercise, the more weight or fat you'll lose.
2. Prevent disease
The chances of developing several various diseases has been proven to decrease when exercising. These diseases include heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and the stroke.
Around 4 out of 5 deaths caused by heart disease and cancer, are linked to factors that include stress and lack of exercise. We all know that diabetes increases the chance for heart attacks and strokes. What this shows, is that many of the risk factors and diseases caused by not exercising are working in conjunction to damage your health. To prevent this from happening, start exercising.
3. Improving disease
Many severe and minor diseases can be improved or even healed through regular exercise. These even include the diseases listed above. By following a regular plan, you can also decrease HDL cholesterol levels, decrease triglyceride levels, and decrease your blood pressure as well.
Exercising on a regular basis will also reduce the risk of prostate cancer for men, breast and uterine cancer for women, and much more. All of this is scientifically proven, which is why you should start exercising today.
4. Enhance your state of mind
Everyone knows from the many scientific studies that regular exercising will lead to an increased release of endorphins in the body. These chemicals will fight depression and make you feel happy. The body releases these endorphins only 12 minutes into the workout.
There is another chemical known as serotonin that is increased during and after a workout. The increased levels of serotonin in the central nervous system is associated with feelings of well being and decreased mental depression. The chemical can also help you sleep better at night.
5. Enhance your wellness
When you are in great shape and well fit, you'll have more energy and you'll notice that your overall mood is improved. You will have experienced that you can stretch beyond your own limits and you know that you can do more than you thought possible.
6. Persistence
Exercising regularly will give you more energy, which can help you be more productive at home and at work. Exercising can help give your new goals a sense of purpose and give you something to focus on and aim for. This can help to increase your persistence and prevent you from going off track while you aim for your goal.
7. Social capabilities
After a workout on a regular basis you can boost your self esteem. This can help you look better and you'll be more comfortable as well. Exercise will also help you to become more active and meet new people, which will prevent you from feeling isolated and unsupported. Exercise will also increase your interests in sex, and can help you to improve your marriage or your partner relationship.
After knowing all of these tips and reasons to exercise, you shouldn't hesitate to get out there and exercise. You can exercise at home or go out there and join a gym. There are several different ways that you can exercise, all you have to do is select a few that you like. Take a little bit of time out of your day and start exercising - you'll feel better than ever before and your body will thank you.

Being Happy and Beautiful
Happiness is not an end-all product. It is actually one of the factors in keeping one’s beauty.
Being happy is one of the key things that keep a person healthy and beautiful. I will share some tips on how to maintain beauty by being happy.
Happiness
How does one actually define happiness? Is it a state of mind or just an emotion? There are many schools of thought with regards to defining happiness. Whether it is a state of mind or just an emotion, people would know how to internally define what happiness is.
Feeling good about oneself and his surroundings is a general definition of happiness.
Happiness is said to be directly correlated somewhat with one’s physical state. Yes, it doesn’t necessarily have any effect on the inborn attributes of a person, but it does affect the glow of one’s skin, the shine of one’s hair and the overall aura of a person.
Tips on how to stay happy
1. Positive light
People have a choice regarding how they perceive things. Everything is subject to one’s view and we can use a positive light to be able to see through things. Seeing positively is one of the key secrets of a happy person. Yes, life is composed of ups and downs but people should always remember that there is a silver lining for all the upsets that are happening in their lives.
2. Down with stress
Work is usually equated with stress and stress is mainly a key driver of unhappiness. It’s all about making the right choice and the proper budgeting of one’s time and energy. There are people who stay well and happy even though they are subject to stressful work because they know how to allocate time and energy and they love what they are doing.
3. Exercise
Research has revealed that exercising regularly delivers emotional and mental boosts. Exercise improves one’s mood, self-esteem and confidence. A recent study done in Duke University has shown that regular exercise is very much effective in reducing depression, tension, confusion and anger.
4. Take a time out
Taking a rest, whether it be a long vacation or intermittent breaks during work, will benefit a person greatly.
Being happy makes one beautiful and being beautiful makes one happy. It’s a good cycle that one has to get into. It’s all about taking that first step towards self-liberation down to the road of happiness.
